Change as the imperative
If systems, religion, dogma hold that change is dangerous, then there must be good reason for it.
Or not.
They hold change as dangerous because it threatens their survival. Not yours. Change can fundamentally rock processes, institutions. It can alter the mechanisms that allow systems to thrive. They are, as a result, undesirable.
Which is precisely why on a relative and individual level they become so valuable. For you.
The world around you is endlessly unfolding, changing. Nature is nothing but change. Unpredictable, insecure and ceaselessly adapting and altering.
To freeze that in some stasis is what feels more like sin.
Change is the siren call of nature, but the danger is the essence of feeling alive.
Perhaps then heed the call of change; it may take you to places far beyond the constraints and hollow promises of that which constrains.
