No point to prove

There is no point to prove. Not right or wrong. No single line in the sand to which you just conform.
There can’t be. That which was wrong yesterday is right today. That which is right today will be wrong tomorrow. The winds will blow and the lines in the sand will change.
The one thing that won't is you. So why fight? Fight for what? For what injustice? What ultimately allows you to stand and be you? Not the validation of distant voices. Like the lines in the sand, they too will pass.
What then are you left with? Which voice remains loud in the deepest silence? Why then turn away?
Away from who? And towards whom?
